The jobs you’ll find in the Writing Jobs section will pay for a whole bunch of different article topics, but not for everything. Here’s a little guide:

In general, the best articles you’ll be writing are going to be are about things that you already know about. If you have a passion for a certain sport or a hobby, it’s usually pretty easy to write about it, and you will almost always do well.

That doesn’t mean that you need to know a whole lot about your subject matter to be successful. Many types of articles, like travel articles, or informational articles on subjects like internet marketing, advertising or fashion, can be easy to write with only a bare minimum of research.
